Edizione Sportiva 2001 (GTV)

Edizione Sportiva cars were only available with 2.0 TS or 3.0 V6 24V Euro 3 engines and produced exclusively in 2001. GTV Edizione Sportiva differed from the standard car by having black, electrically-operated and heated leather MOMO seats with red stitching (interior code ‘902‘) and red carpets. From the outside front side wings from Zender, 17-inch ‘teledial’ alloys and only black metallic paint. Side repeaters are clear, despite all other cars and limited editions from that time still had orange repeaters. As for very special equipment Blaupunkt radio/navi with GPS antenna mounted on the windscreen below rear-view mirror and Blaupunkt 10-CD changer in the boot. Edizione Sportiva was initially planned for 500 cars, although much less were made. Edizione Sportiva is the only limited edition to remain the standard centre console (next to german-market Edizione Classica) and only to doesn’t have a special version code. Main market for this car was obviously Germany. This is also the only edition to have red carpets and the only to have any special equipment. Also there is no extra leather strip under the door armrest, unlike in other limited editions.
