Introduced in April 1998, electrically-operated heated front seats incorporates four electric motors mated with reduction units, allowing the following movements of the seat:
-lenghtwise movement,
– height sdjustment, via gas springs.
– front rocker,
– rear rocker,
– backrest angle.
The folding over of the backrest and the adjustment of the rigidity of the lumbar area still have a manual control. Seats are also equipped with a heating system, consisting of two heater pads, located in the cushion and the backrest, and a control switch.
Electrically-operated heated seats were only available as an option for GTV. Available for Phase 2 and 3. Standard only on Edizione Sportiva GTV from 2001. Not available for Spider due to highest setting could endanger the driver in case of car rollover.
