The stand at Bologna features a Lancia Lybra Executive, the top-of-the-range version of this model. The spotlights are on a saloon equipped with a 2.0 five cylinder 20 valve power unit capable of 110 kW (150 bhp) of power and a torque of 181 Nm (18.5 kgm) at just 3750 rpm.
This engine takes the car to a top speed of 210 km/h and allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under 10 seconds: 9.6 for the saloon; 9.9 for the station wagon. Over a combined cycle, fuel consumption figures are 9.8 and 10 l/100 km respectively.
The Lybra Executive is also available with the 2.4 jtd Common Rail turbodiesel engine. The engine delivers a power output of 103 kW (140 bhp) and a torque of 304 Nm (31 kgm). It allows the car a top speed of 205 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds for the saloon and 9.7 for the Station Wagon. The fuel consumption figures for both versions are less than 7 l/100 km over a combined cycle: 6.7 for the saloon and 6.9 for the Station Wagon. The heart and distinguishing feature of the powerful 2.4 jtd engine is a variable geometry turbocharger that ensures a prompt engine response from low speeds and high maximum power with exhilarating pick-up even in high gears.
From the engine to the styling. The Lancia Lybra Executive can also be identified externally by its Privacy windows and 16 inch alloy wheels painted in pale Chrome Shadow and fitted with 205/55 tyres.
Inside, all the instrument and control frames have the appearance of brushed metal.
